Galapagos Experience

 

This is a physically active and travel-intensive trip. Come explore the Galapagos Islands by foot, by boat, by swimming and snorkeling. We will be experiencing the amazing biodiversity, incredible landscapes, unique animals, and strongly rooted culture of the Galapagos Islands. Through long days and an active itinerary, we will discover what makes the Galapagos such a unique place, and how it is being preserved for future generations. Highlights include seeing giant tortoises and marine iguanas in their natural habitat, exploring lava tunnels, snorkeling with sea lions, and hiking to a volcanic lake. We will spend the first and last night outside of Quito, Ecuador. Accommodations will be in basic, shared hotel rooms.
