ABLE Florida Sailing 2019 - First Day

The first day of the ABLE Florida sailing trip is always a long one -- busy, without a lot of time for photos. Everyone got settled on their boats and Jack and Theo took on the challenge of food shopping and did a great job. The boats set sail out of Key Biscayne because the marina in Miami was full. With beautiful weather and a nice breeze they made it to Boca Chita Key. Everyone is safe and well!

DV Community Honors Tom Lees

On Thursday, March 9, the DVFS community celebrated our Director of Diversity and Inclusion, Tom Lees. We presented him with a framed photograph to show our appreciation for everything Tom does to enhance community life at Delaware Valley Friends School. The photos in the frame show Tom with groups of students who have worked with him in recent years on diversity issues. The mat surrounding the photos was signed by members of the current student …

DVFS Teacher Receives National Diversity Practitioners Medal of Honor

On Saturday, October 29, 2016, Delaware Valley Friends School Director of Diversity and Inclusion, Tom Lees, was presented with the Diversity Practitioners Medal of Honor by Rodney Glasgow of The Glasgow Group, LLC.
