The Delaware Valley Friends School Makerspace, managed by Barbara Lee (and Edu-Tech Academic Solutions), is a favorite hangout in the mornings before school. Watch and listen as Middle School students work on a marble run they designed. It demonstrates perfectly what we're hoping to achieve in the Makerspace: The freedom of open-ended exploration with found materials which leads to tinkering, testing, failing, testing, and ultimately, growth.
