DVFS Art Teacher Jodi Rice got the idea for this WAGE PEACE installation from the American Friends Service Committee at the African-American Museum where they had a similar exhibit. She knew that she wanted to recreate the project with the DV community at some point, and everything fell into place when she was thinking of ways to share information with our families on Back to School Night. As the Delaware Valley Friends School Summer Program moves into the final week of classes, take a peek at what students have been doing in the art classes that are part of the curriculum. Families and friends of participating students will be invited to an Art Show at the end of the program to see all of the work that students have created.

The first week of the Delaware Valley Friends School Summer Academic Program brought trained and enthusiastic teachers together with summer program students to explore art, ceramics, technology skills, math, and one-on-one instruction to meet specific needs.
