2018 Chesapeake Sailing - Day 2

Day 2 started early for some - 1:20 am. A few students needed to help out with some boat maintenance, but once the morning started for everyone, they set off for Rock Hall.

Chesapeake sailing day 2

Natalie, Class of 2019, shared the following:

There were some times when the wind was nonexistent and we were moving super slowly. The sailors on the Pegasus had the chance to see bald eagles, kingfishers and cormorants. Before the trip, Ken [Sinapius] told us about this amazing ice cream place in Rock Hall that he would take us to. However, it is closed on Thursdays! Despite the small upset, we were able to visit a sweet shop and local grocer. All in all, new memories were made, and lots of laughs were shared.
