Adirondacks Ski Touring | Weekend Update

The ABLE Ski Touring group has had fantastic weather this weekend, with cold but beautiful spring skiing conditions! We have all enjoyed both days this weekend on the trails. We're just doing lots of skiing, so there's not huge variety to the days. But it *is* exciting that everyone gets a little better and a lot more confident each day. We hope you had a great weekend, too!

Students Sara and Justin shared this summary of day two on the trails:

"Today the group went out on the trails. For many it was the first time, but everyone fared very well. There were a couple of falls and plenty of laughs, however we all got the hang of it by the end of the day. We wrapped up our day of skiing and headed back to our home away from home for the night."

Anna and Dylan share a little about what Sunday, day 3 on the trails, was like:

"Today the ski squad went to the north side of the trail, where we experienced steeper hills, longer trails, and more challenging terrain. Everyone fared well, considering the circumstances. After lunch we hit the trail again, but this time we skipped the trail to focus on the hills. After a long day of skiing we were exited to return to the lodge for a nice evening out of the elements."
