MEET THE LOWER SCHOOL TEAM

Click below to learn more about the faculty and administrators who will be working with Lower School students in the DVFS Lower School for grades 3-5.

Jason Seggern - Lower & Middle School Director

Jason Seggern has been a part of the Delaware Valley Friends School community since 2004. He came from Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, where we was a cognitive therapist, to teach middle school science at DVFS. When the school added a 6th grade, Jason took on the role of Middle School Coordinator, and later added Dean of Students to his growing role on the administrative team. In 2016, Jason became the division head for the middle school program. When we opened our Lower School Division for grades 3-5, Jason became Lower & Middle School Director.

Christy Zawadzkas - Assistant Director Lower School

DVFS welcomes Christy Zawadzkas, our incoming Assistant Director of Lower School and Lower/Middle School Counselor, who brings with her a child-centered approach that is based upon a clear understanding of each student’s developmental stage and needs. Christy has a track record of developing excellent curricula and programs and we are looking forward to her contributions as part of the DVFS leadership team. Christy will join DVFS in the fall of 2017, when we open the doors to our new Lower School for grades 3-5.
