Attention Seniors: EduTech "Pay It Forward" Scholarship Applications are OPEN

DVFS seniors are eligible to apply for this $1,000 scholarship sponsored by EduTech. This year marks the 9th year EduTech is presenting this award to an outstanding graduating senior from one of their client schools in the Philadelphia Region, in recognition of both academic merit and personal dedication to community service. A DVFS senior has won this award 7 out of the past 8 years!

The 2015 documentation/application packet for the annual “Pay It Forward” service scholar award is available for immediate download from their website at the link below. Parents and students can reach out to us with any questions at the email address included within the packet, Students are encouraged to see Hallie if they need any help putting their scholarship applications together.

Deadline for DVFS Financial Aid Application is February 1st

Families may apply for DVFS financial aid for the 2015 school year online at SSS by NAIS. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2015. Returning families who do not submit a financial application by February 1st may not receive notification of aid prior to reenrollment deadlines and, as aid is limited, may receive a reduced grant. Learning Ally Scholarships:

Each year, Learning Ally offers two endowed scholarship awards for outstanding students with print and learning disabilities. The recipients of these awards are role models of success and inspiration to students throughout the country. The top three winners from each program receive a $6,000 scholarship award and participate at a national celebration in Washington, DC. The deadline to apply for these awards is February 15, 2015.
