The program will cover: 1. Financial Aid 101; 2. How to apply for financial aid; 3. Types of financial aid; 4. FAFSA overview. AlphaCard, has kicked off their third annual $1,000 scholarship program for 2016!

To apply, students must be current high school seniors, or currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students, who will attend college in the fall. Students must write a 350 – 400 word essay responding to a question about campus safety. The deadline for this scholarship is July 1st, 2016.

DVFS Student Receives IDA Award

The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) presented Delaware Valley Friends School senior Thomas Hircock with the Remy Johnston Certificate of Merit at their annual conference on November 7, 2013. The Remy Johnston award recognizes students with dyslexia who are worthy role models, refuse to use their learning difference as an excuse, strive for excellence, and enrich their community. These are characteristics that Thomas demonstrates on a daily basis.
