Amazonia Expeditions
Amazonia Expeditions has been in business since 1981. They were first recommended to us by the staff at Costa Rican Adventures, at the time the two companies were exploring a partnership. DVFS has now used Amazonia Expeditions for trips in the Andes (Machu Picchu) and in the Amazon (Tahuayo Lodge). Associated with Amazonia Expeditions is the non-profit Angles of the Jungle. This NGO has built a health clinic and school housing that serves many villages in the area of the Tahuayo Lodge. While there, our students helped with an expansion of the health clinic. Amazonia Expeditions has received many awards and strong recommendation from organizations such as the National Geographic Adventure Magazine.
