Our students come from across the Delaware Valley, as well as parts of New Jersey and central Pennsylvania. They use a diverse range of methods for getting to and from school. Delaware Valley Friends School is located one block from the Paoli train station on AMTRAK and SEPTA’s Paoli-Thorndale line. The majority of our students take the train.
In Pennsylvania, if the border of your school district of residence is within ten miles of Delaware Valley Friends School, measured by the nearest public highway, the school district will provide busing. Currently, there is busing from the following:
| Coatesville | Lower Merion
| Phoenixville
| Tredyffrin-Easttown
|
| Downingtown | Upper Merion | Spring-Ford | Marple-Newtown
|
| Great Valley | Methacton | Radnor | Wallingford-Swarthmore |
| Haverford | Owen J. Roberts | Rose Tree-Media | West Chester |
- Other school districts may provide service upon request.
- Other families arrange carpools or get together and hire private cars or vans to drive students who live close together.
- Students often use the travel time to study, complete homework, and get to know each other.
